This page details the terms and conditions on which we supply our products to you that are listed on our Website www.littlepumpkinbooks.co.uk This will include any Goods purchased by you, including but not exclusive of, our three-month subscription packages, one-off subscription boxes, story sets, books, toys and sensory products. 

Throughout our Website the terms, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Little Pumpkin Books. The term "you" or "your" refers to you, as the customer and user of our Website. This must be in a personal capacity only and for non-commercial use only.

Please ensure that you read and understand all of the terms and conditions. Ensuring that you are fully happy with them before proceeding with the purchase of any Goods or Services from us. By ordering any of our Goods or Services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. This ensures that we can accept any orders and proceed with making a legally enforceable agreement with you. 

By accessing our Website, using any part of our site or purchasing something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service", "Terms") including all additional terms and conditions, information, policies and notices based on our Website. These Terms and conditions apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants and/or contributors or content. If you do not agree to these terms, then you may not access the Website or use any of its Services and must exit our Website immediately. 

We reserve the right to amend, update, change or replace these Terms and Conditions from time to time, at our sole discretion. It is your responsibility to check the Terms and Conditions periodically for any changes. Any new features or products which are added to the online store are subject to these Terms and Conditions.  Furthermore, your continued use of or access to our Website after such changes are made declares that you agree to and accept be bound by such changes. By agreeing to these Terms and Conditions you must legally be able to purchase Goods from our Website and be eligible to enter into a legally binding contract and are at least 18 years of age.  By using the Website and agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are confirming that you are at least 18 years of age.

We define content to include any text, graphics, videos, photos, images, audio, software, website layout and any other form of information that can be stored in a computer.  By continuing to access and use our Website you acknowledge that the above Content is protected by Copyright Laws. Prior written consent must be granted from Little Pumpkin Books before you can use, reproduce, copy, duplicate, distribute, sell, resell any of the above Content from our Website. 

You must not use our Website, its Services or Products for any harmful, unlawful, illegal, abusive, harassing, threatening or unauthorised purposes. You must not violate any applicable law or regulation including but not limited to copyright laws. You must not solicit others to perform or participate in unlawful acts. You must not violate any international or government law or regulations. 

You must not harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, slander, disparage, intimidate or discriminate based on gender, sexual orientation, religion, ethnicity, race, age or national origin or disability. 

You must not submit false or misleading information.

You must not make, transmit or store any electronic copies of the Content without prior written permission from Little Pumpkin Books. 

You must not use the website in anyway which may cause damage to the website or interferes with other users, being able to access our Website.

You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any codes of a destructive nature.

the security features of our Website.

You must not use the site for the benefit of another business or if we believe that a user is acting in a way, that would be deemed harmful to the business of Little Pumpkin Books.

A breach or violation of these Terms and Conditions will result in an immediate termination of your Services including without limitation terminating accounts, cancelling orders and refusal of Services.  

Service Availability

We provide Goods and Services to people residing only in the United Kingdom. All orders for products and services outside of the United Kingdom and Northern Ireland may be accepted, with a prior request sent to info@littlepumpkinbooks.co.uk We ask that a full delivery address is included within this email, as well as the Goods that you wish to purchase, so we are able to source an accurate worldwide quote.

We reserve the right to refuse Service to anyone for any reason at any time. 

Goods and Services 

Little Pumpkin Books sell children's books, toys and sensory toy products in book sets, individually, as a one-off subscription box and as a three-month subscription package. We wish to engage babies and young children into the awe and wonder of the world, through a range of specially selected books, toys and sensory resource packages. Our Goods are suitable for children from newborn babies through to preschool age. 

The Service we provide on our Website www.littlepumpkinbooks allows our Users to purchase a three-month book, toy and sensory toy subscription package (please see our Website for full details on our subscriptions). The three-month subscription package requires an upfront payment, and no further payments will be deducted from your method of payment. 

The content of each box will vary depending on the recipient's age. We are unable to guarantee that you will receive a particular product in a box. We have given images of our subscription packages on our Website as examples only. Due to supply and demand some of the Goods may not be available but a suitable replacement will be given. We always endeavour to ensure that each box is of the same approximate value. 

The description of all of our Goods and Services are set out within our Website and any other form of advertisement. They may be small variations in the size and colour of the Goods supplied as any descriptions are for illustrative purposes. We aim to ensure that all of our photos are as true to life as possible however, colours may slightly vary due to digital imaging. 

All Goods which appear on our Website are subject to availability. The description of the Goods in our Website does not form a contractual offer to sell the Goods. When an order has been submitted on the website, we can cancel or reject if for any reason, anytime prior to dispatch. In the event that an order is cancelled or rejected, no contract for the order/s will exist between Little Pumpkin Books and you and we will endeavour to inform you of the cancellation and the reason without delay. 

We reserve the right to limit the sales of our Goods or Services to any person, geographic location or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit quantities of any Goods or Services that we offer. These restrictions may include, orders placed under the same customer account, the same billing/shipping address or the same payment details. In the event that we need to cancel or amend your order, we may attempt to contact you via the email address used to place the original order. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that we believe to appear to be placed by dealers, resellers or distributors. 

All descriptions or prices of our Goods or Services are subject to change at any time at our sole discretion. In the unlikely event that a substantial change was to be made to a subscription package, we would endeavour to contact you via email, from the email address used at purchase. We reserve the right to modify or discontinue any Goods or Service, without notice and at any time. We shall not be liable to you or to any third party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuation of Service.   

All Gift Vouchers purchased cannot be refunded and any unused gift vouchers not used in the designated time frame given will not be eligible for a refund. 

You are only able to use one promotional code per transaction.

We can make changes to the Goods which are necessary to comply with any applicable law or safety requirement. We will notify you of these changes. 

We strongly recommend that you check the suitability of all of the products before giving them to your baby or child. You can find some safety information on our Website regarding recommended age requirements. However, please refer to the packaging, safety labels or appropriate safety information given on our products if necessary. All products purchased from Little Pumpkin Books must be used under adult supervision only. 

When using our Website, you accept that communication with us will be through electronic means. We will contact you by email or provide you with information by posting notices on our Website. For contractual purposes for our three-month subscription boxes you agree to this electronic means of communication. You understand and acknowledge that all contracts, notices, information and communication that we provide to you electronically comply with any legal requirements. This condition does not affect your statutory rights. Contracts for the purchase of Goods of products and Services through our Website and any dispute or claim made in connection with them or their subject matter, will be subject to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

We are unable to guarantee that that the quality of any Goods, Services or Information purchased or obtained by you will fully meet your expectations or requirements. that any errors in our Service will be amended.

Billing, Delivery and Payment Policies

Our aim is to dispatch all orders within 48 hours (approximately 2 working days). When ordering from our Website there are several delivery options available. The delivery times are approximate, and we are unable to guarantee delivery on a specific day for Standard or Express Delivery and will not be held liable for delays outside of our control. If a request for a next day delivery has been made, we will of course process this order to ensure that next day delivery is possible. If you do not receive your parcel, you must contact Little Pumpkin Books within 14 days of the dispatch date at info@littlepumpkinbooks.co.uk If we receive a complaint after this timeline then unfortunately you will not be eligible for a replacement item to be resent. Please note that an investigation will be required first from Royal Mail as to where the parcel was delivered.  

The three-month subscription packages will be dispatched within the first seven days of each of the three months. You will receive an email notifying you when it has been dispatched. All three-month subscriptions will be posted via Standard Delivery (Royal Mail Second Class). If there is an address change you must notify us prior to the 28th of the month ready for the following months subscription to be dispatched. Please email us at info@littlepumpkinbooks.co.uk with the change of address details and order number. If the address is not updated in time, this will result in a forwarding fee. If the Goods are returned to sender, due to an incorrect delivery address, Little Pumpkin Books is not liable for reshipment. You will be liable for all postage fees for the parcel to be resent. You agree to provide up to date information of any addresses required and understand that it is your responsibility to make sure that all the information is accurate and up to date. 

Little Pumpkin Books will not be responsible for the resending of any products, one-off subscription boxes or three-month subscriptions, that are not delivered due to the courier not being able to deliver the package. You will be liable for all postage fees for the parcel to be resent. We will not be held responsible for any incorrect information given, it is the responsibility of all our customers to ensure that all information provided is accurate. 

Due to reasons beyond our control sometimes there may be order processing delays or shipping delays. You will not be due a refund due to any unforeseen delays. Customers are obliged to comply with Royal Mail's claim compensation processes if a parcel is delivered late or a box is undelivered, please note that these processes are not in place during any industrial strike action. 

Little Pumpkin Books accepts the following payment methods for the purchase of Goods and Services on our Website, credit and debit card payments via Square and PayPal. All information that you provided in connection with any Goods or Service that you are purchasing must be accurate, complete and current. You agree to pay all charges by users of your credit card or debit card, used in connection with a purchase of any Goods or Service from our Website, at the price in effect when such charges are incurred. If applicable you pay any taxes relating to a purchase of any Goods or Services from our Website. To ensure a full and correct payment can be made for the purchase of Goods or Services, you are solely responsible for providing and maintaining accurate contact and payment information associated with your account. If the credit or debit card payment is not processed successfully for any reason, we reserve the right to reattempt to process the payment again. If you do not wish for us to reattempt to process the payment, you should cancel the order after receiving the initial payment failure notification. All payments shall be made in the form you selected when you submitted your order. We are not privy to any of your credit/debit card information and no details are stored on The Little Pumpkin Books Website or it's servers. 

Little Pumpkin Books may add new Services for additional fees or charges or amend fees or charges for existing Goods or Services at any time, at its sole discretion and without notice. We will not be held accountable for any banking charges incurred due to payments made on your account for any purchases of Goods or Services. 

Cancelling a Pre-paid Subscription 

The three-month pre-paid subscription can be cancelled within 14 days of ordering, please email info@littlepumpkinbooks.co.uk using 'Cancelling three-month subscription' as the subject. Security is extremely important to us, so we may ask you to confirm your order number, postcode and any additional information needed. If we have already dispatched your first subscription box, you will be required to return the order for a refund. You will be responsible for the full cost of returning the subscription box and ensuring that it reaches Little Pumpkin Books safely. Once we have received the returned box, it will be inspected to ensure that all products are in their original packaging, unused with the seals intact, undamaged and in a resell-able condition. We will then process a full refund, please refer to our returns policy for any further information. 

If you wish to cancel a three-month pre-paid subscription within the 14 days of placing your order but do not wish to return the first subscription box received, you will be liable for the full cost of a one-off subscription box (£19.99). This means that you will receive a refund for the remaining amount of the three months subscription less the one-off subscription box and postage and packaging costs paid. Please refer to our returns policy for further information. 

Pre-paid subscriptions cannot be cancelled after 14 days of ordering. 

Conduct and Submitting Information on our Website or Social Media Platforms including but not limited to Facebook, Instagram, TikTok)

When you submit, upload, email or post any materials (including but not limited to text, images or videos) on our Website or Social Media Platforms including but not inclusive of, reviews, blogs, comments or posts featuring any Goods or Services provided by Little Pumpkin Books, you grant Little Pumpkin Books worldwide, royalty-free and non-exclusive license to use, copy, distribute, publicly display and modify to use on our Website or Social Media Platforms. 

You understand and agree that Little Pumpkin Books will be entitled to use any content submitted by you without any incurring obligations of confidentiality or payment to you. You agree by applicable law to waive all moral rights in any content that you post or submit whilst using our Services, including the right to be identified as the author of the materials.

If you do not grant Little Pumpkin Books the rights set out in the paragraphs above, then please do not submit any materials to our Website or Social Media platforms. You confirm that any materials that you provide does not include anything that you do not have the full right to grant Little Pumpkin Books the license to use in the paragraphs specified above. You also confirm that any materials you provide does not contain any abusive, defamatory, libellous, violent or obscene material. In addition the content that would not upset or embarrass or annoy another person. 

You are solely responsible for all material that you put on our Website and Social Media Platforms and agree that you will ensure that all content does not include anything that is generally accepted as being unacceptable, questionable or that Little Pumpkin Books would find as being objectionable. You agree to ensure that all material falls in within the areas stated within the Online Store Terms. 

We value our customers and will do our best to ensure that your shopping experience with us is straightforward as possible, making it an enjoyable experience. However, in the unlikely event that you are unhappy with any aspect of our service. Maintenance and Accuracy of the Website 

There may be times that the use of our Website may be interrupted but we will do our best to ensure that we maintain our Website so that you have constant use. If our Services or Website are interrupted for maintenance or causes beyond our control, this is not grounds for any repayment of money. If we are aware of any upcoming maintenance or times that our Website will be unavailable, a notice will be added to our Website detailing such information. 

On occasion there may be information on our Website that contains typographical errors or inaccuracies that could relate to any product description, pricing, shipping charges, transit times, availability, promotions and offers. We reserve the right to correct any errors or inaccuracies, change or update information or cancel orders if any information given on the Website is inaccurate at any time, without any prior notice. This can include orders that have already been submitted as cancellations can be made up to the point of dispatching an order.

We are not obliged to update, amend or clarify any information in our Website, including but without limitation pricing information, except as required by law. There is no specified update or refresh date applied to our Website and we reserve the right to modify the contents of the Website at any time. You agree that it is your responsibility to monitor any changes to our Website.
